Legacy Wealth Capital Group began with a chance encounter—but it became the culmination of a shared vision to build something truly transformative. Founded by Tyrus Shivers, Sean Teamor, and Kyle Freeman, the company is built on a foundation of expertise, ambition, and the relentless pursuit of creating lasting impact.

The story starts in July of this year at the Power Networking Expo, where Tyrus was a featured speaker. With 15 years of experience in online marketing, Tyrus had built a career mastering systems and strategies that help businesses grow and scale online. From running campaigns to building back-end processes, Tyrus knew how to take companies from small beginnings to scalable enterprises. His presentation at the Expo caught the attention of Kyle Freeman, who had also seen ads and social media posts featuring Tyrus in the weeks leading up to the event.

The morning after Tyrus’s presentation, Kyle approached him with an idea. After a quick conversation, Kyle explained what he and Sean Teamor had been working on for years—building, scaling, and exiting businesses through venture capital. With 40+ years of combined experience, Sean and Kyle had exited more than 100 companies and raised over $300 million. They were also the founders of JMI Telecom Corp, one of the few minority-owned publicly traded companies in America—an accomplishment that had cemented their legacy as pioneers in venture capital.

Initially, Kyle and Sean wanted Tyrus’s help with marketing, but Tyrus saw an even bigger opportunity. He joined their Capital Raising Academy and quickly realized how their experience could complement his vision to create a complete solution—one that would guide businesses from ideation all the way to IPO.

After some time in the Academy, Tyrus presented his idea: a comprehensive business consulting and capital firm that would combine marketing, business strategy, and venture capital expertise to guide companies through every phase of growth—from startup to IPO. The goal was to not just build businesses, but to create legacies that would stand the test of time.

Sean and Kyle loved the idea, and that conversation became the foundation of what is now Legacy Wealth Capital Group. Together, they’ve merged their collective expertise into a platform that helps entrepreneurs grow smarter, scale faster, and achieve exits that change their lives.

Tyrus Shivers

Tyrus Shivers is a serial entrepreneur, born and raised in the South, who moved to Maryland via service in the Air Force in 2009. He holds a Bachelors in Legal Studies, a Masters in Cybersecurity, and an MBA. Today, he works with some of the top influencers and motivational speakers in the world.

Utilizing his experience running several successful companies, he founded TKS Integrators in 2019 to provide fractional Chief Operations Officer services to businesses with $1M+ in annual revenue, and are ready to scale with seasoned pros who ensure your business does the right things, the right way.

In 2023 Tyrus combined TKS Integrators with other services to form O.S.S. which helps entrepreneurs and personal brands grow and scale their businesses. It is a true one stop shop with all the strategy and implementation done in-house. You focus on the vision and we will handle the details.

Sean Teamor

Sean Teamor is a driven and accomplished entrepreneur with a unique blend of military discipline and financial expertise. As an Air Force veteran, Sean brings a strong sense of leadership, integrity, and commitment to his work in the private sector.

After transitioning from the military, Sean began his career in the world of venture capital, where he quickly developed a keen understanding of the intricacies involved in raising capital and guiding companies through the process of going public. His natural aptitude for finance and his dedication to learning led him to become a licensed stock broker, enabling him to directly assist companies in achieving their public offering goals.

Kyle Freeman

Kyle Freeman got started in business marketing in 1996 in San Diego, California. He was the first field coordinator promoted in the region, in record time. He left the company after several years and became the head trainer of a similar company in the telecom marketing industry.

Spending many years with two different companies, he decided to set out on his own. In 2003 he created Juice Marketing, Inc., he served as President and CEO for the next five years. In that period of time under his leadership the company JMI became JMI Telecom Corp a publicly traded company and one of the only minority owned public utilities in the country.

Kyle served in the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. After 24 years of service with the Navy and Naval Reserves he retired with honors.
